Better Than Your Average Camping Tarp
ARK Camping Tarps have been designed with the avid camper in mind. They are strong, yet lightweight, 100% waterproof and they don’t crack or peel in the sun. If you want a waterproof camping tarp that is also lightweight and strong you don’t need to look any further than ARK Tarps.
ARK Camping Tarps are made out of XF Film. This is a specialised Swiss patented film that makes our tarps strong, reliable and 100% waterproof for life.

Our Camping Tarps are tried and tested in bush camping as well as in gruelling outdoor conditions and have performed consistently and exceptionally well!
Additionally, the camping tarps have a very high tear Strength and come with Ultrasonic Welded Eyelets which are strongest in class.

How Not To Rig A Tarp
When using the tarp as a suspended cover we highly recommend that you do the following:
1. Ensure that all the eyelets are secured to distribute the load on the tarp evenly.
2. Rope is applied across the top of the tarp to prevent the tarp from becoming a parachute against the wind. In doing so tie a rope to every eyelet, passing it over the tarpaulin to the opposite eyelet tying the rope slightly shorter than the tarpaulin at that eyelet.
3. Allow for water to run off from the tarp and not pool in the middle. The water will not cause any leaks, but the pooling will add extra weight and strain to the eyelets. Once the tarp has been set up, you can pour some water over it to ensure that there is enough slope provided for the water to run off.
Note – We recommend our stronger grade tarps with stronger eyelets where the tarp is to be used as a suspended roof shelter or where strong pressure will be applied to the corners and side eyelets. The tarpaulin should be roped over to avoid the “parachute effect”. The performance of each tarp varies in accordance with the use and type of install.

- $15 flat rate for orders between $50 and $100
- $9.95 flat rate for orders below $50

– Are your tarps completely waterproof?
Yes! All our tarps and covers are completely waterproof! This has been tested through a laboratory in Australia and we are proud to confidently offer 100% waterproof products.
– How strong are your eyelets?
The eyelets on our tarp are ultrasonically welded and double reinforced to provide extra strength! We have done eyelets strength testing to give you an idea of just how much load/strain our eyelets can take. Check these out under the Eyelet Test Video tab.
– How do your products stand against the sun?
We are so confident on our product performance that we offer you a 3 Year Warranty against any UV degradation. Our products love the sun! and once again, we back our claims with testing. Our tarp and cover materials have been thoroughly tested against rapid UV degeneration and have outlasted and outperformed other common tarps/covers.
– How do I find the right tarp for my application?

– How heavy are the tarps?

– How long does delivery take?
We dispatch all orders within 1 business day from our warehouse in Auckland, the actual delivery period depends on where you are located, but check out the below estimates for a rough idea:

Unfortunately we don’t have a physical store for you to come and pick up from.
